Aloha! Welcome to the Utah Aloha Festival presented by the Ka Lama Mohala Foundation and the Hawaiian Cultural Center located in Midvale, UT. We have provided necessary information you will need to become a food/commercial/informational vendor below. Vendors can set up on the day of the event, at 7am and take down starting at 5pm.
Applications may be mailed to the Hawaiian Cultural Center or dropped off. Make checks payable to the Ka Lama Mohala Foundation.
No refunds will be given.
The Ka Lama Mohala Foundation will provide each vendor with one (1) table and two (2) chairs to commercial and informational vendors. We will provide an additional chair to food vendors.
Commercial and informational vendors will need to provide their own canopy for their 10x10 space. There are a few tents that are available for rental for an additional cost. Fire retardant tents that are in compliance with local fire regulations will be provided for food vendors.
Booth assignments are based upon a receipt of application and full payment on a first come, first serve basis. We reserve the right to limit similar vendors to maintain a fair and competitive environment.
This event is free to the public.
Food vendors must be aware of current Salt Lake City County health regulations and must have a license from the Board of Health. Verification of this license needs to be presented prior to set up on Saturday, August 13. Individuals in food booths must have a valid food handler’s permit and a form of running water for a hand washing station. All food must be prepared on site. Food vendors are solely responsible for making sure they are in compliance with all Board of Health requirements.
Additionally, food vendors will not be permitted to serve any beverages including, water, soda, juice, hot drinks, etc.
Each vendor will be in charge of disposing his/her own garbage. Trash receptacles will be available.
